Back-to-Back Champion: TMIS Fifth Grader Advances to State Spanish Spelling Bee Again

Trinity Meadows Intermediate fifth grader Adrianno Pineda Reina won the Sixth Annual Region 11 Spanish Spelling Bee for the second consecutive year earning a spot at the State Spanish Spelling Bee June 4 in El Paso.
The Regional Bee showcases the spelling skills of bilingual students in fourth through sixth grades, celebrating language, literacy, and academic excellence.
"He demonstrated exceptional language skills, preparation, and confidence throughout the competition," said Brandy Crow, Keller ISD Director of Language Programs. "With this impressive victory over some very strong competitors, Adrianno will move on to represent Keller ISD at the State Bee. We are incredibly proud of his achievement and grateful to the educators who support and inspire our multilingual learners. Best of luck to Adrianno as he prepares for the state competition!"
